New Shipping Option for U.S. Customers: DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)

We are pleased to introduce a new shipping option for our customers in the United States.

From now on, when ordering from Store Riele, you can choose DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping. With this option, all import duties and customs fees are paid in advance, meaning you will not receive any additional customs or tariff invoices when your package enters the USA.

How it works

  • DDP shipments are sent via Dutch PostNL.
  • If you would like to use this option, please email us after placing your order.
  • We will calculate the DDP costs and send you a separate invoice for the applicable fee.

Why choose DDP?

In most cases, paying the duties upfront through DDP is more cost-effective than paying customs charges upon arrival in the United States. Please note that shipments via Dutch PostNL may take a little longer to arrive compared to UPS.

What stays the same?

  • You will continue to purchase our products without VAT.
  • Our shipping rates remain unchanged:
    • $36 shipping for orders below €500
    • Free shipping for orders above €500

If you do not choose DDP

Orders will be shipped via UPS as usual. UPS will handle customs clearance and will invoice you directly for any applicable import duties, tariffs, and customs fees.
